Dometic ECD EnviroComfort 10000 BTU Reverse-Cycle Air Conditioning Retrofit Kit, Self-Contained

This 10,000 BTU unit replaces an older self-contained air conditioner of comparable capacity in the 8,000 to 11,000 BTU range. The EnviroComfort Air Conditioning Retrofit Kit provides reverse-cycle cooling and heating. Reverse-Cycle Air Conditioning is one system that handles both cooling and heating, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate regardless of the season. During hot weather, the system extracts heat from the indoor air and expels it outside, effectively cooling the indoor space. In colder weather, the process is reversed. The system absorbs heat from the outside air (even when it’s cold) and transfers it indoors to warm the space. By transferring heat rather than generating it, reverse cycle systems can be more energy-efficient and cost-effective compared to traditional heating methods.
